Seahouses is a bustling fishing town that provides a gateway to the world-renowned Farne Islands. The harbour is both a working fishing port and embarkation point for visitors to the islands - several companies operate daily trips throughout the year. The town’s strong fishing heritage also lives on at Swallow Fish, which has been smoking on site since 1843. Visitors are very welcome at The Fisherman’s Kitchen, where historic fishing memorabilia and curios are displayed alongside the local catch-of-the-day.
